Register to Vote
To be eligible to vote in Florida, you must be:
- a U.S. Citizen
- resident of Florida
- 18 years of age or older on Election Day
- not a convicted felon, or if you are, then your rights relating to voting must have been restored.
If you meet all of the above requirements, then you may
register to vote by any of the following five ways:

Call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections
office during regular business (Monday through Friday
from 8:00am to 5:00pm) at (727) 464-3551 to request
a Voter Registration Application, or

Email the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections
at
election@votepinellas.com
and request a Voter Registration Application, or

Fill out a Voter Registration Application available at
most public libraries & many government offices, or
-
Fill out this online form to create a
Voter Registration Form, or
-

delivered to you.

Civil Rights Restoration
If your voting rights have been removed because of a felony conviction or mental incapacity you may request that they be restored. For most felony convictions the request for restoration of voting rights is automatically granted, but first you must make the request.
Mental Incapacitation: A person who has been declared mentally incapacitated with respect to voting who desires to have their competency restored must begin by filing for a Suggestion of Capacity with the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
