Voter Information
Register to Vote
To be eligible to vote in Florida, you must be:
- a U.S. Citizen
- resident of Florida
- 18 years of age or older on Election Day
- not a convicted felon, or if you are, then your rights relating to voting must have been restored.
If you meet all of the above requirements, then you may register to vote by any of the following five ways:

Call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections office during regular business (Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm) at (727) 464-3551 to request a Voter Registration Application, or

Email the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections at election@votepinellas.com and request a Voter Registration Application, or

Fill out a Voter Registration Application available at most public libraries & many government offices, or
-
Fill out this online form to create a Voter Registration Form, or
-
Call me at (727) 596-1990 or email me and I will arrange to have a Voter Registration Application delivered to you.

Vote by Mail
Any registered voter may vote by mail anytime before
Primary Election Day by calling and requesting
an Absentee Ballot:

during regular business hours. It's easy and the call
to request an Absentee Ballot only takes two minutes.
For even greater convenience, you could simply complete this online mail ballot request form.
All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received no later than six days prior to an election.
And, you do not need a special reason to vote by
Absentee Ballot -- Florida is a "convenience voting" state.
Vote Early on Optical Scan Voting Machines
Any registered voter may vote early at any of the
three Supervisor of Elections Office facilities throughout Pinellas County.

Early voting is held at each location from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, the two weeks before any election, ending on the Saturday before the election.
For the August 26 Primary Election, early voting will be held August 11 - 23.
For the November 4 General Election, early voting will be held October 20 - November 1.

Please be sure to bring your Photo ID (Florida driver license or other government-issued Photo ID) with you.
Civil Rights Restoration
If your voting rights have been removed because of a felony conviction or mental incapacity you may request that they be restored. For most felony convictions the request for restoration of voting rights is automatically granted, but first you must make the request.
Mental Incapacitation: A person who has been declared mentally incapacitated with respect to voting who desires to have their competency restored must begin by filing for a Suggestion of Capacity with the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Persons requiring further information should contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court at (727) 464-3267
Felony Conviction: If a person is unsure of their felony status, or was convicted of a felony outside of Florida, they should contact:
